One Man, Two Guvnors

But Roscoe is really his sister Rachel posing as her own dead brother, who's been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers. Holed up at The Cricketers' Arms, the permanently ravenous Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and takes a second job with one Stanley Stubbers, who is hiding from the police and waiting to be re-united with Rachel. To prevent discovery, Francis must keep his two guvnors apart. James Corden
James Corden has already helped sell a huge amount of London theatre tickets, as he performed on the stage in the first cast of Alan Bennett’s The History Boys (as Timms) from 2004 until 2006. This included an international tour, performing in Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia, as well as a 2006 film adaptation of the production, in which Corden starred. On the silver screen, as well as the adaptation of The History Boys, he has starred in a number of films including the 2010 film adaptation of Gulliver’s Travels in which he played Jinks. He has had most of his success, however, on television, where he is possibly most well-known for his role both in front of and behind the camera in Gavin & Stacey that ran from 2007 to 2010; Corden was the co-creator as well as playing Smithy. For his performance in the show, Corden won a 2007 British Comedy Award for Best Male Comedy Performer as well as a 2008 television BAFTA for Best Comedy Performance.

James was also a permanent cast member for Fat Friends, running from 2000 to 2005, where he played Jamie Rymer. He also co-created and starred in Horne & Corden in 2009 alongside his Gavin & Stacey co-star Matthew Horne as well as hosting the 2010 celebrity comedy/sports quiz show A League of Their Own. With acting credits such as this, it is easy to see that One Man, Two Guvnors tickets will be as popular as Corden himself.
