Million Dollar Quartet - A Smash Hit!

Million Dollar Quartet
Many people wish they had been there at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee on the 4th December 1956; the night that Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis came together to make music and resulted in making musical history. Now is your chance to see the electrifying story of the night in this ecstatic and engaging musical and from the 8th February until the 25th March 2011, the booking fee for Million Dollar Quartet tickets has been binned, saving you pounds on your perfect night out!

A smash hit on Broadway and in Chicago, the Tony Award-winning Million Dollar Quartet is a story of fame, friendship, discovery, divided loyalties, professional jealousy and incredible music as four of the music industry's most extraordinary talents, all in their creative prime, made music together for the first and only time in their careers.

The musical features over 20 classic hits from a golden era of music including songs such as Blue Suede Shoes, Fever, (There Will Be) Peace In The Valley, I Walk The Line, Great Balls of Fire, Hound Dog, See You Later Alligator and Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On!

Directed by Eric Schaeffer, the cast list is impressive to say the least! Ben Goddard (Jerry Lee Lewis), Derek Hagen (Johnny Cash), Robert Britton Lyons (Carl Perkins) and Michael Malarkey (Elvis Presley) make up the four legends; all accomplished theatre performers, Britton Lyons was a member of the original Broadway cast. Also featuring are Francesca Jackson, a contestant on the BBC’s ‘I’d Do Anything’ TV programme who also played Sue in Dreamboats and Petticoats, who will play Dyanne, and Bill Ward, who will play Sam Phillips, Sun Records’ founder. Ward’s acting credits are vast and include playing Charlie Stubbs in Coronation Street as well as West End roles such as Sir Lancelot in Spamalot and Scar in The Lion King.

With such an amazing cast list, script and music, Million Dollar Quartet tickets are a must-have, so get your cheap theatre tickets today with no booking fee!
