Les Miserables, the popular musical based on Victor Hugo’s novel, this year celebrates its 25th anniversary from its premier in 1985. London was the first city to host this awesome musical and is the venue to celebrate Les Miserables with three exceptional productions one at the Queen’s Theatre where it will be possible to watch the original version by Alain Boubil and Claude-Michel Schoberg. This amazing production has been seen by 55 million people in 40 countries around the world and it has been translated into 21 languages. The Barbican Theatre will also host the Les Miserables’ remake by Cameron Mackintosh produced to celebrate the 25th anniversary and it will be in London only for 22 performances between the 14th of September and the 2nd of October. This production has already been shown across UK and has been acclaimed by critics and public as it has broken all box office records.
